About Me
Imperfections make us stand out
Did you notice the sport sandals? … Well, this is a typical me and I do it on purpose. I choose comform over polish until I ream my destination, I have fun and messy hair most of the time and I don’t try to convince anyone I look perfect all the time. I don’t have a secret routine and I wouldn’t create a list for the sake of organic ranking in Google.
Why? Well let’s say I’d rather be Genuine and someone like me for what I am, rather than show up a “fake” me and make people strive for the same.

Who Am I?
Personal Life
I am an average woman in my forties, who is lucky to have a great family. My family consists of my son and my partner, with whom I’ve shared over 15 years of my life. They are the most important thing to me and I love spending time with them. We are always doing something together, whether it’s going on walks, playing games, or just talking. I am so grateful for my family and I know that I am lucky to have them in my life.
I live in Asenovgrad, Bulgaria which is next to one of the oldest cities in Europe and right at the foot of the amazing, mysterious, and magnetic Rodopa mountain. I’ve traveled quite a bit across Europe and a few other continents, so I do consider myself a regular traveler being at irregular places.
I’m not one to stay cooped up at home. I love being outdoors and I truly believe that to have a great family, one needs to have some time on their own. That is why at home, we respect each other’s hobbies and try to make them happen in between life’s demands.
I’m well aware that I’m not always the tidiest or most organized person, and I tend to forget things all the time. I know that I am not always the easiest person to live with. I can be messy and I oftentimes forget things. But my family loves me for who I am and I love them back. We are a team and we always support each other.
End of the line: I love where I am at that stage in my life, with no regrets and I cherish every day I have knowing how happy I am to have that.
I’ll tell you all about that and how I reached it in the further pages of my blog as it was no easy work to achieve it.
Career & Expertise
My professional journey has been long and diverse, marked by various roles and industries. It all began as an assistant and later transitioned into the real estate sector, where I played a pivotal role in establishing a ground-up office in Plovdiv for a prominent corporation. Following the challenges posed by the 2008 financial crisis, I ventured into the world of selling Mercedes-Benz automobiles in Bulgaria.
After a period of maternity leave, I embarked on a new chapter at 1-StopAsia, where I immersed myself in the realm of translation and localization. My time at 1-StopAsia is multifaceted, encompassing roles in marketing and sales, global marketing management, quality control, and software development. Currently, I proudly hold the position of Global Partnership Director, overseeing a dedicated team of five. I find great satisfaction in my role being part of the higher management in the company and am genuinely excited about our company’s future.
My career has been characterized by a consistent track record of success across various industries. Notably, I co-authored a book with my current company, a collaborative achievement of our marketing team. Public speaking is a realm I am well-acquainted with, having addressed audiences on numerous occasions, particularly within my areas of expertise: marketing and business development.
I take immense pride in my achievements and harbor a sense of anticipation for the unfolding future. I hold deep gratitude for the opportunities that have come my way and am strongly committed to maximizing their potential.
Dreams & Adventures
I am a regular person who loves sports. My family got me into martial arts when I was in first grade, and I practiced for 10 years. After that, I have always been active, excluding my crazy university years, where we were mostly busy with bars, drinks, and parties.
I love the feeling of being active and pushing myself to be better. I also enjoy the camaraderie of playing sports with friends.
My passion is paragliding; you will probably see it all over my blog. There is no other such sport that brings me the feeling of free flight. I will be dedicating more and more content to this sport further in time as I can’t get enough of it alongside my “regular” life.
I must emphasize I am no professional but it doesn’t make it any less important for me because once you taste a bit of adrenaline and adventure, it turns your life upside down and you see it in a different way. So thanks to paragliding I do all lots of other stuff as a leisure sport on a pretty regular basis when time is available.
I am currently doing mountain and road biking as they are the easiest and accessible to do in daily life, I’ve dabbled a bit with climbing and I do have some funny stories to share on that part. For the winter I do have my fun sport too and go snowboarding mostly here in my own country.
My standard for a good weekend is camping in the mountains with friends or staying at home playing our PS in the winter.
Along with that, I am a very strong believer in community and fighting for what we stand for, teaching that to our children and passing on a legacy of respect for nature and people for what they are. Thus I have been engaged in a number of NGOs from my student years to the current days in the food industry, paragliding, and event organizing lately.
